Introduction
The Harp Academy was founded in 2009. The Harp Academy is dedicated to harp education; committed in developing an understanding of this enchanted instrument among the society. We hope by doing so, this will create a more supportive environment for harpist, which will then guide them towards international stages.
A little about Harp
The Harp is one of the oldest instruments in the world. It is a plucked string instrument which is plucked with fingers. Harps come from variety of shapes and sizes and consist of three major parts: The soundboard, the neck and the strings. Usually there are 3 types of strings on the harp: Gut, Wire and Nylon.
Harp Lessons
At The Harp Academy, we offer a range of lessons from individual lessons to group lessons up to 4 students at once. We have students from as young as 6 years old, to as mature as 40 years old. And our grading system begins from 1 to 8.
